EDITORIAL: Far From The Tree Cider in Northshore Magazine

As the leaves begin to run color and crunch under our feet on the sidewalks, New England’s Fall flavors come to the forefront. You’ll never catch me excited to talk about pumpkin lattes in August, but when the creative director (Thanks Bryan!) at Northshore Magazine had a photo assignment on Far From The Tree cider, I was thrilled. I met up with founder Al Snape to take some photos of their process and the taproom. They’ve been fermenting up in Salem, Massachusetts for a couple of years now and have a dry hard cider selection that is unrivaled IMO. Cider is often too sweet for my liking, but these folks are onto something unique and flavorful that wins me over.
