The third show I ever went to was Everclear at Bogart’s in Cincinnati, OH on Nov. 7, 1997. I was excited to see Everclear, cared a bit less about Our Lady Peace opening, but was blown away by the band opening the night, Letters To Cleo. Their front woman had a sonic voice backed by seriously hooky rhythms. I fell hard for the band, tore a poster off the venue wall, and had it hang proudly in my room for a few years. They broke up just three years later. As I moved to Boston in 2004, I learned that it was their hometown, but I never caught their one-off reunion shows. So with the release of their new EP, Back To Nebraska, I was beyond stoked to catch them once more at their final tour show at The Sinclair in Harvard Square.
